My go-to coffee shop in the Champaign-Urbana area. Good coffee, nice atmosphere, conducive to both working, journaling, and hanging out. I just wish they serve a couple more items on the food menu, but I’ll still be a regular w/o it

Avionics is the best local coffee shop around! Favorite treat? Probably a Good Judy’s bagel with house veggie cream cheese! Second best option the homemade granola! They have something for your cool pour over people and simple latte girls like myself!

I was a huge Flying Machine fan when they were in Urbana, but the new Avionics location did not disappoint. It’s a bit small, and there’s no Pizza M or wine/beer, but the wait staff is friendly, lattes are delicious, and if you’re gluten free, they can make any sandwich on their grit “cake” (basically a circle of warm grits on a plate but still delicious), although they do run out kind of early sometimes. You might have to share a larger table with wooden benches (no backs) if you don’t get lucky with a table, though, and if you get an iced beverage, be careful they don’t accidentally make it hot (but they’ll gladly remake!).

The coffee was great! I got a rosemary latte with oat milk and it was delicious. The staff is extremely helpful about dietary restrictions. The vibe is great. Highly recommend people to try out this place.

A great little shop with engaging staff. Our barista was friendly and patient while we asked questions about the unique menu. We settled on our drinks and were pleasantly surprised when they arrived with coffee art. My scone was fresh and tasty. My son, who is vegan also had options. The shop had WiFi as well as art for sale from local artists. That’s always a big hit for me!

The iced Matcha Latte opened me and my friend's eyes to our new favorite, it was fantastic! Thank you! Love the wood of the seating and bar area.

They have a unique menu and seasonal specials that are cool. The ambiance is nice but it can be pretty noisy. The carrot cake cinnamon roll that I got was hard but the drip coffee was solid. Definitely one of the better coffee shops around campus.
